Timescale
It is entirely up to you to dictate the speed at which you progress in your speaking. Some members complete the 10 speeches from the ASC Speakers Guide within two seasons, whilst others are happy to go at a much slower pace. Before you reach the end of your assignments, you will have already become a confident public speaker. There are also plenty of advanced assignments after the initial 10 speeches to enhance your speaking skills still further. Plus, topics sessions, chairing and evaluations along the way will add to and complement the skills you will acquire from following the ASC Speakers Guide.
